Furniture Feature Friday: It's all in the details

Friday, August 14, 2015

Often on Furniture Friday we feature larger items, but today I wanted to do something a little different. Not every decorating job requires a table or dresser. Some times all you need is a chair, or some simple storage.

Old soda crates make wonderful storage. Toys, books, collectables, all look a little more stylish tucked in these old boxes.

We have an awesome little antique chair sitting in our kitchen. I picked it up at a yard sale because it was the perfect color. Funny thing is we never actually use it for sitting. Instead it's used to hold towels, and collect miscellaneous items while waiting to be put away.

Chairs can also make great bed side tables. Just the right height and size to hold a book or two and a cup of coffee.

And of course for book lovers, any and every surface makes an ideal bookshelf.

Enjoy your weekend!
